Dear Heart,

I know this is long overdue. I know that you've been collecting dust, and yes, please do not remind me how awful I've been to you the past few days/months/years/etc. etc. etc.

It's just that lately I've been a coward, & lately, I haven't been able to look you in the mouth. 

There's been a lot on my shoulders (those two damn devils I've told you about before...) but this isn't a letter meant to be a laundry list of excuses...this is me telling you I know you know I am not okay, and I know you still love me for some goddamn reason anyway.
